For the clinical team

Set up from the scan or surgery report

Start with normal anatomy. Use the ultrasound, CT, MRI or surgery report to show which ovary has a tumour, how big it is, how it looks and how far it has spread, then show the treatment your team has discussed. Initial tumour settings are examples: replace them with the report details.

Side, size, appearance and spread come from the report. The shapes of the ovaries, tumour and omentum, and the places of the spots showing spread, are schematic. Lymph nodes, fluid in the tummy (ascites) and spread further away are not shown.

Views and layers

Use Whole body, Pelvis and Ovary to move closer in the same scene, and Abdomen for the omentum and the lining of the tummy. Show / hide controls the body outline, bowel, omentum and lining, bladder, rectum and pelvic floor, sacrum, a cut through the tumour, measurements and labels.
