For the clinical team

Set up from the ultrasound or MRI report

Start with normal anatomy. Use the ultrasound or MRI report to show how many fibroids there are, how big the largest is and where it grows, then show the treatment your team has discussed. Initial fibroid settings are examples: replace them with the report details.

Where it grows

Position on the womb

Number, size, type and position come from the report. The fibroids’ rounded shapes, the places of any smaller fibroids and the womb’s shape are schematic.

The report gives the length of the wombOtherwise the womb is drawn larger than average to make room for fibroids in its wall, as a model estimate.

Views and layers

Use Whole body, Pelvis and Womb to move closer in the same scene. Adding fibroids opens a cut-away through the womb. Show / hide controls the body outline, bladder and uterine arteries, rectum and pelvic floor, sacrum, the cut-away, measurements and labels.
