For the clinical team

Set up from the ultrasound or CT report

Start with normal anatomy. Use the ultrasound or CT report to show how wide the appendix is, where its tip points and whether there is a collection, a burst or an appendix stone, then show the treatment your team has discussed. Initial settings are examples: replace them with the report details.

Appendix width (diameter) mm

Use the maximum outer diameter, as written in the report. As a general guide, a normal appendix is usually under about 6 mm; the model does not make a diagnosis.
